Friendship Outreach, Inc.
Meet the Team
Doc & Connie

Doc & Connie have been in crisis ministry for more than thirty years - twenty of that in full-time family and crisis ministry.

Dr. Spurlin has designed training and degree programs for a host of organizations, professional and academic.  He has designed and implemented prevention, intervention, and treatment programs for various recovery organizations.  He is providing technical and treatment consulting for W.A.R.P. 180, as well as all the practical training and professional staff development.

Connie Spurlin is serving as our Program Administrator.
Nancy

Nancy Conyers is the Residential Director for W.A.R.P. 180.

Nancy is the one living with the ladies of W.A.R.P. 180.  She is uniquely qualified to work with these ladies due to her experience with family members in the drug scene.  She serves as a mother figure, life coach, and friend to these women struggling to rebuild their lives.

Marie

Marie Priest is serving as one of our teachers.  She is the wife of a Baptist preacher, taught grade school for 38 years, and is a wonderful woman of God.
Kristi

Doc & Connie's daughter, Kristi Spurlin, is serving as the Program Director for W.A.R.P. 180.  She is a Certified Drug, Alcohol, and Addictions Counselor (CDAAC).  She has completed all of her credentials in the Christian Counseling realm & is preparing to sit for the Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS) exam that will grant her state certification.

Kristi's first hand knowledge of addiction will be a great asset to this ministry.  When trying to escape the turmoil of an addiction, it helps to have someone there who knows exactly where you're coming from.

Dr. Henry

Dr. Bill Henry is serving as W.A.R.P. 180's medical advisor.  He has agreed to help us set up medical care for our ladies.  Praise God for Dr. Henry's willingness to serve with us.
